Search box shouldn't lose focus whenever Dash is open

Bug Description
If the user clicks anywhere else in Dash, the search entry bar loses focus and the user needs to click back in it in order to type their search. This is unintuitive behaviour, the search bar needs to retain focus regardless of what the user does for quick search refinement.
