Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

I noticed that the ~/.bash_history file isn't updated any more. The recently used commands aren't saved at all, what is really uncomfortable.

When I delete the file, a new one won't be created.

Another note: within an open Terminal, I can scroll through recently used commands. When I close it, the history is gone, the ~/.bash_history isn't updated.

summary: - [Natty] ~/.bash_history isn't updated with new commands
+ [Natty] ~/.bash_history isn't used at all
