while i click bluetooth manager, i get info as bluez daemon is not running and bluetooth manager doesnot load...pls help me

i installed blueman in my ubuntu 10.04. My bluetooth is not functioning and bluetooth manager is not loading. I have a dell laptop and intalled ubuntu 8.04 which i upgraded to 10.04

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

The "Bluetooth Manager" will not run. The only thing displayed is an error "Connection to BlueZ failed: Bluez daemon is not running, blueman-manager cannot continue. [Close]".

This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report against it and we will take it from there.
