Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

I have sound in a few specific circumstances that, when typing, the keyboard focus goes to a window that is not visible (because it is hidden behind the topmost window). I can reproduce this easily by doing the following:
 1) In an empty desktop, open firefox, then konsole, then firefox again (by clicking their menu entries)
 2) Close the topmost firefox
 3) At this point, konsole is the the only visible window, but the firefox underneath has the keyboard focus (and konsole's title bar is greyed out, indicating the window is inactive). The expectation, I believe, is that when closing a window, focus will transfer to the next highest window.

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.

Thanks!
