Bug Description

System: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HP_Pavilion_DV8220EA
Ubuntu 6.10 +updates
VLC media player 0.8.6 (wxWidgets interface)

I've just manually directed VLC to a directory setup from a DVD (Elephants Dream) but I closed vlc the fastest way by clicking on the 'X' in the corner of the gnome window. Now the wxvlc process is still playing the soundtrack while vlc itself seems to have stopped properly. If someone else with the Elephants Dream DVD could try to reproduce this that woulud be great.

I reported this bug some time ago in Dapper, but I can't find it, sorry.
