Bug Description

Binary package hint: parole

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10

$ apt-cache policy parole
parole:
  Installed: 0.2.0.2-3ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.2.0.2-3ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.2.0.2-3ubuntu1 0
        500 http://mirror.waia.asn.au/ubuntu/ maverick/universe i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

On a fresh install of Xubuntu 10.10, even with the Parole Setting "Disable screen saver while playing movies" is checked, the screen saver still kicks in while a movie is being played. It occurs in both fullscreen and windowed modes.

Actually, I get this same bug on a fresh install of Xubuntu 11:10.

$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 11.10
Release: 11.10
Codename: oneiric

apt-cache policy parole
parole:

The screensaver still interrupts when playing media files, and does not respect paroles override option.

Just a thought -- while its nice that a fix is released, I'm running Xubuntu 12.04, which is an LTS release, supported until April 1215. The version of Parole is 0.2.x. Any chance of the fix appearing in Xubuntu 12.04?
