Binary package hint: software-center

No idea why the download process stopped for hours.
It seems to run in short bursts. It usually runs pretty steady with occasional pauses.

Thanks for the report, John, and sorry for the slow response. Unfortunately there isn't enough information here for us to work out what the problem is. If you still experience the problem, could you please trigger it once, and then attach these files:
/var/log/dpkg.log
