Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and make Ubuntu better. I believe this bug is a duplicate of one already filed, see https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ rhythmbox/ +bug/655880 for details. I will mark this as a duplicate of 655880.
There is a work-around in that bug report claiming that removing the package rhythmbox-plugins will prevent the segfault when there is no connection (although this may have flow-on impacts if you utilise plugs ins).
