When clicking on icon to run Synaptic app-watch asks for the root password

When clicking on icon to run Synaptic app-watch asks for the root password. If
there is no root account (the Ubuntu default) it refuses to run Synaptic.

If you click on the synaptic-icon when logged in as a user that may perform system admisistration tasks (the user created at installation time can do this) you need to enter this users password.

If you log in with the user you created during the installation, it does belong to the sudoers group; it's intentional. You have the same password as the disabled root account.

Suggesting someone to remove this bug, since this is not a bug; merely a translating typo, if even that...
