Effect display isn't user friendly

It's not immediately apparent that the orange box with the red circle represents an effect, at first I thought it was a value slider, and that the red circle was the drag handle.
An "X" in the red circle at least would help.

This little effect widget is going to be redesigned/rewritten before the next release. If anyone wants to help me make it more usable let me know.

I did originally plan to put a 'X' in the red circle, but had too much other stuff to do. I think this would reasonably solve the problem.

I'm already working on the effects-categories spec which includes a complete overhaul of the instrument effects and effect settings dialogs.
