Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-control-
When you have two keyboard layouts you will see the keyboard indicator applet. From this you can use the menu to get to the Keyboard Preferences. This allows you to removed the USA layout and away goes the indicator. Save this, even apply system wide. Logout and in, and back comes the USA layout and the indicator.
