Hi,

What is the type of OS you want to be automatic ipdiscover elected ? We found an automatic ipdiscover election bug with Windows 7, *BSD and other Linux distribution. The bug will be corrected soon and wil be integrated in the next 2.0 RC3 release.

Kind regards,

Hi,

We fix the issue at revision 661 of the ocsinventory-server stable branch : http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ocsinventory-dev/ocsinventory-server/stable-2.0/revision/661 . It will be released in the OCS 2.0RC3 release.

Ipdiscover now uses useragent instead of the OSNAME for automatic election. This will prevent this kind of problem with OS with different and sometimes exotic names in the OSNAME field.

Thank for your report :) :).

Kind regards,
