hugin-2011.0.0-beta2 crashes when selecting 'help about'

A Fedora 14 x86_64 build of the 2011.0.0 beta2 will crash when selecting 'help about', if other help selections have not been previously selected.
In many cases, if other help selections are chosen first, 'help about' is OK, but not always.

can you check if the following files are installed?

xrc/data/splash.png
xrc/data/splash/dedication.png
xrc/data/splash/dedication.htm

I can't reproduce the error here in Ubuntu 10.4LTS 64bit.

I have xrc/data/splash.png, but do not have an xrc/data/splash dir hence no sign of xrc/data/splash/dedication.png and dedication.htm...but having said that I can get to the dedication screen (when it doesn't crash) and the dedication looks correct.
It looks like my build might not be packaging things as it should. Fedora's rpmbuild will usually warn if there are files that are unpackaged, but that might only work with built binaries.
The difficulty in doing these builds is to write the .spec file to package stuff correctly...OK when it follows past practice, but when things change it requires a bit of detective work.
I'll do some more homework.

sorry, my bad. those two dedication files should have been in the same folder
as splash.png

mhh. maybe I should initialize the state value better, then. Will look into
the code later this week. The weird thing is that I can't reproduce it.
Everything works fine here on Kubuntu.
