Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

The system (or at least X) hung (I was able to restart the system via MagicSysRQ), I think because of some error produced by banshee.

The bug occured while I listened to the music using banshee.
After ~1 hour listening to the music, the system crashed. I did not really use my notebook, so I think the load was low.
Banshee played the first few seconds of a song and then infinitely repeated one (or a few) second(s) of that track (because XServer or system hung).

I am unable to reproduce the bug, I just add the interesting part of /var/log/messages.

Mathias

Nope, as I previously wrote, I am unable to reproduce it.

In the meanwhile, the error did not re-occur, I am sorry, but I have no other information for you.
If it happens again, I will tell you but it never happened before, so I think you might close the bug. I just thought the bug entry might be helpful.

Thanks,
Mathias
