Scrolling using mouse wheel doesn't work in Dash/Places

Scrolling in the Dash/Places view doesn't work no matter if the scrolling area on the touchpad is used or the wheel of an attached mouse. It doesn't matter whether the mouse cursor is located inside of the Dash/Places view or not.
