Konversation shows multiple away messages when lag is high

When I lag around / above 414 ms on irc.freenode.net and mark myself as away (Ctrl + Alt + A) Konversation shows:

[Away] You are now marked as being away.
[Away] You are now marked as being away.

in the chat window. It seems to happen only when there is a large amount of lag.

I can confirm this. This only happens when the server is lagging (or my internet connection is lagging).

Please open the raw log tab (using /raw command, or enable the preference to open it automatically on connect in the config dialog), reproduce the problem, and forward the contents of the raw log tab along with a description of the problem to the Konversation development team. The raw log tab will show what is sent by the server, and by contrasting that with what is displayed in Konversation, it will be possible to narrow down the cause of your problem.

Note that the official bug tracker for Konversation is http://bugs.kde.org/ and that we do not (and cannot) monitor distribution-specific trackers such as Launchpad.

when i did /raw and got the error. I'll file the bug in b.k.o and if anyone
else is getting this, I'll mark this bug as upstream.

here is an image of this happening, i believe the longer the lag, the more away messages are shown.

after some testing, i think this may also be related to how long Ctrl + Shift + A is being held down. if you hold it down too long, there will be multiple away messages, both "You are now marked as being away" and "You are not marked as being away" perhaps this may be useful for testing.

Should be fixed in Konversation 1.1.
