Bug Description

It is not a big thing, but might cause problems for a minority, so I rather report it: after installing the "Ubuntu One" applet for Windows on my Windows 7, 64 bit, machine for the first time, I tried to do "Add Computer". After I provided the "Ubuntu One" PW and login in the opening window to connect to "Ubuntu One", the dialogue window closed, but nothing happened.

I have an Internet Explorer (IE) installed on my computer which connects via a password protected proxy server. Though, I usually use Firefox without a proxy. It turned out that it was necessary to log in to the proxy of the IE to connect to "Ubuntu One". After this the connection was possible.

"Ubuntu One" seems to take its information how to connect to the internet from the IE preference settings (at least that's the way it seems, not understanding too much about computers). Note: this is also an issue with other software products connecting to the internet (eg if adobe want to upgrade).

Maybe it would be easy for "Ubuntu One" to circumvent this potential difficulty for users?

Thank you for providing the Ubuntu Software for Windows software!

All the best, U Morawetz
