Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

After updating Natty today I lost my network devices. (KVM)

- no entries in 70-persistent-net.rules
- eth0 device has been removed

anyone got a workaround for this? lost eth0 on both my test machines.

This [1] solved network issue on VMware Workstation

This was an issue with isc-dhcp which caused dhcp to fail to be used by NM (thus connections can't be established except by using a static IP). I'll mark this as a duplicate of bug 724556.
