When installed, Audacity icon displays incorrectly in Software Centre "program view", but not "list view"

The audacity logo is rendering very strangely. When audacity is not installed it render with just a plain "package icon".

When audacity is installed it displays correctly on the software list view, but not on it's own page.

Thanks for reporting this issue. The problem that the icon is not visible when the application is not installed is already known, see bug #599535 for details. The other issue, that the icon in the list differs from the one on the details page is another bug, which should be tracked here.

So the bug exhibited in Screenshots 3 and 4 is fixed thanks to work on Bug #599535.

However we still have the problem seen in Screenshot 2, where the icon is shown without the red. Screenshot 1 is how the Audacity icon should look.

Marking the audacity task as Invalid, as opening the audacity.svg (the one which should be displayed in software-center according to the packages desktop file) in EOG displays the SVG fine, so it doesn't seem to be audacitys fault. The icon is displayed OK before the app is installed, because the icon and app info is taken from the ubuntu-app-install-data package until the app gets installed, and that package doesn't have the audacity.svg file, but an audacity.png file instead, which displays fine.
