Bug Description

When logged in, I noticed that the homepage that lists all of the public profiles is only listing the public profiles that are contacts I've imported. This seems fine to me, as it's easier to manage my own personal contacts apart from the gigantic list of everyone's contacts that displays on the default non authorized homepage.

The problem, though, is that the sorting hasn't downgraded back to a combined list. Rather, it's kept the alphabetized sorting, even though I have far fewer contacts that 150 & the display is cluttered.

To fix, there needs to be an 'if authorized' section to the homepage widget that is able to make a separate sql call to determine if those contacts owned by the signed in user are greater or less than 150. This would allow a sorting shift depending on the person logged in & their individual contributions to the giant alphabetized list.

Your solution would work but I think it's invalid.

I don't agree that the home page should have different views depending on whether your are logged in or not.

The home page should always show a list of public profiles.

Under your scheme, there is no way for any Owner to access the list of public profiles except by logging out. And logged in viewers who have no contacts would see nothing on the home page.

I would however consider pivoting your idea into a separate contacts list for each owner. Right now there is no single-page contact list.
