Unable to see sent messages

It is a failure of mahara not to be able to review sent messages.

In short, Rachel complained that it is not possible to review all the sent messages to other users. She suggest having a list of these in the InBox area.

I agree with her that this feature is important to review interaction with students.

I also have had this request from users finding it very difficult to track back their own messages.. would like to join in this request.

This issue has not been looked into yet. It was assigned to a developer briefly but not anymore. Thus, it's up for grabs if somebody wants to work on this wishlist item. :-)

We have some lecturers who would like to see their sent messages in Mahara. Is it planned to include this feature for Mahara 1.8 or 1.9?

I'm afraid it's not on the list of features for 1.8 and we do not yet have funding to implement it for 1.9. If you want to work on it, this would be great, or if you know who might be interested in sponsoring this feature, please let us know.
