vlc freeze on opening filepicker

Binary package hint: vlc

I'm using maverick, and the last kde from the ppa.
On opening a file or directory, or whatever uses the filepicker, vlc is freezing

Here is the output from the terminal, the QProcess line, comes after 30 seconds.. the filepicker appears after 2 minutes ! :

After the filepicker has been opened once, the open time is "quite" normal the second time

This is caused by a bug in Qt4 which is exposed in KDE 4.6. You are not supposed to have KDE 4.6 in Ubuntu 10.10.
