Bug Description
Current Mixxx 1.9.0 has sound quality issues if key lock is enabled. This has been observed on OS X but also Windows builds.
The problem is that scratching is almost impossible regardless if one use the mouse, MIDI or time-coded devices. There's some kind of echo effect. Beatmachting only by hears is even harder :-)
How to reproduce: I recommend a set of electronic tracks for testing. Try to scratch or move the waveform just before a beat. You are likely to hear the echo-like effect. Otherwise, I can provide one or two tracks on request.
Tested with
* NI Audio 4 DJ at 5ms with ASIO and Core Audio
* Build-in soundcard
