Synaptic has(is?) the worst GUI ever.

Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

While doing something, synaptic will continually pop up new windows to the front, like a terminal with debconf(rare), or files downloading or installing window(always).

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu
natty
2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center
0.75~pre4
3) What you expected to happen
i expect synaptic to stop thinking its the center of the universe.
4) What happened instead
i thinks its the center of the universe.

For installing software and libraries, you can also use Ubuntu Software Center, which is more-or-less focus-steal-free.
