netbook left applet with buttons crashes every time mouse go over

Bug Description
I have the latest Ubuntu 10.10 netbook with all updates installed system. The problem is when every time I went with mouse over buttons on the left side panel. The left side panel dissapeares and screen goes black for two seconds and then it starts all over again. It's annoying and not working as expected.
I have HP Compaq NX 7010.

Can anyone offer solution? The left side applet with icons starting with FIrefox.. crashes and screen is black for two seconds before the left side panel restors itself. Maybe it's graphics problem?
