Bug Description

For some strange reason when I'm sending events from my M-Audio USB Oxygen8 V2 to seq24 sometimes it does record the velocity or pitch bending in notes and other times it doesn't, when it doesn't no pitch bend effect is recorded and all note velocities are recored with a value of 100, don't know if I'm doing something wrong in config of seq24 or what but I jumped to version 0.9.2 from 0.9.0 because I was having other issues with saving/opening midi files with it..., but now I have this particular problem.

Thanks

I verified that this occurs only when starting the JACK transport from either qjackctl or Ardour (Ardour set as master) If I start to roll the transport from seq24 then velocity is recorded properly, using JACK2.

This is also happening to me, except I can not get seq24 to record any incoming midi data whatsoever except for note on. No matter what I do, the velocity for notes is always 100 and note length is always recorded as whatever the grid snap is set to. Also the note on events are not being quantized while being recorded. Unfortunately, all these problems together make the program useless for me, which makes me sad because I really love this little program, there is nothing else like it!

I am using a Yamaha UX16 USB-midi interface and an s03 synthesizer which worked perfectly for me with this program for years, recording all midi events. Worked fine until I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04, which I am using now. It does still work fine with other programs. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? I've tried changing every setting there is with no success.
