No Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar displayed

Binary package hint: firefox

Using latest version of Ubuntu Natty 64 bit. No bookmarks toolbar is shown by default. If I save a bookmark to the bookmarks toolbar by selecting Bookmarks - Bookmark this page and scrolling down to Bookmarks Toolbar, the toolbar is not shown after I click on OK. The only way to see the bookmarks saved this way is to go to Bookmarks - Bookmarks Toolbar and there a list is shown (see screenshot).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Chris. Currently I can't run Ubuntu Natty due to new install problems. Once I've got Natty Ubuntu running again I'll sort out a new bug in Bugzilla as there doesn't seem to be one raised on Firefox, but on Evince which may be related.

i'm using Kubuntu 11.04 and i've had this problem twice. It first happened last week. I resolved by creating a new profile and syncing the bookmarks again.
Then it happened last night/this morning after the last dist-upgrade.

This is now working, after I installed today's daily build of Ubuntu with Firefox 4.0. By default the Bookmarks Toolbar is off. To select go to View-Toolbars and tick Bookmarks Toolbar. So this is now just a wishlist item (i.e. Bookmarks Toolbar selected by default).
