Bug Description

Touchpad on Acer Aspire 3003LWCi should be disabled while typing, but it is not leading to random mouse movements and sometimes random text selection. It is really annoying.

Hi, better late than never I guess. I'm rejecting your bug report since this not considers a bug. However you can write a feature specification for this at Launchpad's feature section. First check whether the idea is already registered ([WWW] https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+specs), and if so, contact the specification's drafter about your ideas. Otherwise, you can start writing a spec yourself. [WWW] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeatureSpecifications

Untill it gets implemented, you can use this blogpost to fix the issue yourself: http://ubuntu.wordpress.com/2006/09/20/disable-touchpad-temporarily-when-typing/
