The affected hwpack contains a kernel named '/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.35-903-omap4', which obviously does not match the current pattern. Looks like another special-casing for 10.11?

hwpack_linaro-bsp-omap4_20101109-1_armel_unsupported.tar.gz used pkgs/linux-image-2.6.35-903-omap4_2.6.35-903.17_armel.deb (built from linux-ti-omap4) which ships /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.35-903-omap4.

We're expecting to match a -omap filename instead, because that's what the omap3 hwpack uses.

Did we release a mainline-based hwpack supporting panda in 10.11?

I think we could reuse the existing hook we added to fix bug 697824. That way we can change the suffix at runtime when the kernel minor version is < 36. Would that work?

Maybe we should just glob on omap/omap4 like to locate x-loader?

(I'm worried that there might be omap4 in natty)

That may well be the most reasonable alternative, then.

IIUC, this means changing the panda config, which currently uses the
file matching vmlinuz-*-linaro-omap to use the file matching
vmlinuz-*-omap* (and similar for the initrd).
