Kernel from Ubuntu 6.10 server iso does not support ViaC3 processor

Bug Description
I installed a ubuntu 6.10 server iso on to a VIA C3 processor driven mini-itxserver. Installation worked, but after reboot the kernel starts booting and immediatly reboots the system.
The ubuntu 6.06.1 server iso does not have this problem.

Which kernel image are you booting? 386 or generic? Please try the other one.
