All my applications are gone from Programs

I just upgraded Vineyard to the latest release, then installed doubletwist. I open up Vineyard-properties to see it in the Programs section and there are only two, grayed-out entries: doubletwist and WMP. All my other programs, like Steam, are gone. However, I had made a launcher for Steam and it still works, so I think the programs have just been removed from the registry.

This sounds like something went wrong reading the list of programs.

Could you run vineyard-preferences from a terminal and post its output here?

I think it's part of a much bigger problem. I can't even start Vineyard now, and I can't start Nautilus either because it hangs loading the wine integration. I've tried reinstalling it, now I'll try totally clearing everything and reconfiguring it from scratch and see if that works.

Reinstalled my programs and it works fine now. Guess it was just a little hiccup in updating.

I'm glad to hear you got things working, though I'm a bit worried that it might happen to someone else - let's hope not.
