kcharselect crash with segfault when changing alphabet

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdeutils

Steps to reproduce :
- UNINSTALL any kdeutils-dbg package (one of the *-dbg prevents to crash)
- remove any kcharselect config file from your home
mv ~/.kde/share/config/kcharselectrc ~/.kde/share/config/kcharselectrc.old
(with some configs, kcharselect won't crash)
- launch kcharserlect
LANG=C kcharselect
- Change the alphabet, by example from "Basic Latin" to "Latin-1 supplement"
At this point kcharselect will crash and kcrash will launch

backtrace :
