Bug Description

Binary package hint: chromium

chromium-browser fails to open sourceforge.net pages when webgl is enabled (default). I also filed a chromium bug:
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=72737

Here what happens when starting chromium from the commandline:
fritz@jfh00:~$ chromium-browser http://sourceforge.net/projects/pidgin/
libEGL warning: unable to load st_GL.so
/usr/lib/chromium-browser/chromium-browser --type=gpu-process --channel=2862.0xba19c650.558368832: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/egl/egl_gallium.so: undefined symbol: drmGetMagic

sourceforge.net pages load when started with --disable-webgl

No hang but I am seeing the message. I think this is a problem with the mesa build.

Freedesktop bug here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30558 - looks like the same problem and it's fixed upstream...

Changed in mesa:
importance: Unknown → Medium
status: Unknown → Fix Released

According to the upstream chromium bug, this was an issue in Modernizr.
