Bug Description
GTG crashes when launching with the same dataset on Windows while it will launch fine in Linux. The console complains about:
2011-02-14 19:54:56,405 - ERROR - datastore:
Then application then just hangs until you terminate it manually.

This is probably due to the fact that we do not merge the gtg trunk recently.
