Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Started upgrade from 10.4 to 10.10 from Update Manager. At second step, got the following error:
Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade:
E:Error, pkgProblemResol
This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
If none of this applies, then please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/
None of the suggested causes appear to be applicable. I recently installed applications Scribus, Audacity and Wine, but these were through the package manager so I thought they would not cause issues.
Version:
You are using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
- the Lucid Lynx - released in April 2010 and supported until April 2013.
