Bug Description

I'm using the 0.4.0-1 kazehakase package in feisty. Form submission seems to be broken in this version. To reproduce: try to log into http://facebook.com/ using any username and password. It will not submit the form or even allow the Login button to be pressed.

When I switched to an earlier package for 0.3.8 (which I custom-compiled against firefox rather than mozilla or xulrunner, after tweaking the build system slightly), the problem went away.

I'm not sure whether the problem is being caused by libxul0d or kazehakase itself. Perhaps packaging the 0.4.1 (or 0.4.2) release might fix the problem, since 0.4.1 supposedly included some tweaks to make building against firefox 2 work.

I tried the 0.4.2-1 package today, and it has the same problem.

This also happens here. It doesn't submit forms, and the dhtml support seems buggy. In ubuntuforums.org I can't access some features like attaching files, and accessing quick links. The problem is with Feisty because in Edgy I used kazehakase with no problem.

Hi,

Is this issue still reproducible with the 0.4.3-1ubuntu1 package in gutsy?
Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
