Bug Description
Binary package hint: emacsen-common
How to trigger this bug:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure -plow emacsen-common
The result I got:
emacsen-common: Handling removal of emacsen flavor emacs
emacsen-common: Handling removal of emacsen flavor emacs23
emacsen-common: purging byte-compiled files for emacs23
emacsen-common: Handling install of emacsen flavor emacs
emacsen-common: Handling install of emacsen flavor emacs23
emacsen-common: byte-compiling for emacs23
Wrote /etc/emacs23/
Wrote /usr/share/
This is not dpkg install-info anymore, but GNU install-info
See the man page for ginstall-info for command line arguments
install-info: No dir file specified; try --help for more information.
The result I expected: Not to get the last three lines containing error messages.
Why this is important:
It hinders dpkg -a from finishing successfully.
