Add as first step:

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties

Also:

"sudo apt-add-repository ppa:drizzle-developers/ppa" should be add-apt-repository.

I've added in the python install command, and will leave the apt-add line alone (unless you think it'd be helpful to specify that add-apt also works?) just want to be sure I understood your comment...thanks!

sorry, what I mean was both add-apt-repository and apt-add-repository are acceptable. So that part can be left as-is.
