Bug Description
Software Center version 3.1.16
I generally keep the Get Software and Installed Software items in the left navigation pane in the expanded state. I have noticed that occasionally on startup these nodes remain closed, and so the previous expansion state was not restored. This is very intermittent, happening maybe once every 10 startups or so (I use Software Center a lot). ;)
Anyway, looks like a bit of a race happening there.
