Here is the error:

dpkg: unrecoverable fatal error, aborting:
 files list file for package 'libxslt1-dev' is missing final newline
dpkg: error processing base-files (--configure):
 package base-files is already installed and configured

Could you please attach the file /var/lib/dpkg/info/libxslt1-dev.list to this bugreport?
