Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

I got this error report after (apparently problem-free) shutting down and starting my computer again. The only bug/crash I can think of now related to the gfx-driver is the bootsplash failing when starting the computer.

This report might be a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/616986 and/or https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/612816. I'm a bit unsure since the one doesn't have any description and the other is regarding the screensaver.

No, it looks more like a variant of bug #702090 to me. Same (lack of) symptoms, same EIR code, and same error message in dmesg.
