Bug Description

hpodder is a nice command line podcaster (great to run from cron). Debian maintainer is also the upstream author. Would be nice to see this in Ubuntu. Once I get the upgrade to edgy done, I will see if I can compile this. Dapper was impossible (i.e. too many packages would have to be compiled instead of apt-got). Some tests on the live CD suggested it can be done in edgy.

This ran very smooth.
sudo echo "deb-src http:// ftp.de. debian. org/debian unstable main sources. list;sudo apt-get update haxml-dev_ 1.13.2- 5_i386. deb 3.8.3c2a; sudo dpkg -i hpodder_ 0.5.8_i386. deb
" >> /etc/apt/
sudo apt-get build-dep libghc6-haxml-dev
sudo dpkg -i libghc6-
apt-get --compile source libghc6-haxml-dev
apt-get --compile source hpodder
sudo apt-get install id3v2 libid3-
is all that was necessary to get a working package compiled on edgy.
