Bug Description

Please sync fgfs-base 2.0.0-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
This is required to be able to install flightgear 2.0. The package builds fine and installs fine.

Changelog entries since current natty version 1.9.0-1:

fgfs-base (2.0.0-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release.
  * Made the pkg-fgfs-crew mailing list the official maintainer of the
fgfs-base package, and myself a mere uploader.
  * Split aircraft models into a separate fgfs-aircraft-base package,
and object models into a separate fgfs-models-base package.
This reduces the size of the fgfs-base package, and facilitates
aircraft and scenery updates between FlightGear releases.
    Closes: #534839.

Hi,

Flightgear 2.0.0 builds fine, and as simgear 2.0.0 has been uploaded, all the 2.0.0 packages should be synced too. What is the status of fgfs-base?

Thanks,
Fabrice

This should be synced now since flightgear 2.0 was synced and cannot be installed because fgfs is still at 1.9.

Why do we need this update before release?

Hi,

sorry: I subscribed ubuntu-release before having updated the description.
Without this update, the installation of flightgear fails:
