Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

When browsing in nautilus certain SVG, jpg or tiff files will cause nautilus to hang and never come back, only when the files have been selected (IE click on a particular file and the window will never be responsive again).

Nautilus does not log anything anywhere that I can find and a kill -SIGUSR1 'nautilus pid' does not produce any output.

A run of nautilus -c produces no errors.

Forgot to add that my current work around is to edit nautilus Preferences -> Preview and set 'show thumbnails' to 'never'.
