Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

Unable to set avatar in MSN.

It appears momentarily to work via the GUI, but on closing and reopening the dialogue box, the set avatar disappears. Friends on MSN do not see the set avatar.

This is a pretty showstopping bug for the casual Ubuntu user; IM functionality is central to their user experience and being unable to set the avatar of their choice is a major problem.
