Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Hello,

  UbuntuOne client cannot synchronise with UbuntuOne cloud. Progress bar constantly states "synchronization in progress..."

  Was working well in Karmic Koala, did upgrade, now doesn't work.

cement_head,
looking at the info apport provided I noticed that the write_limit is set to -1. The workaround is to delete the ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf and restart the client. You can do that by opening a Tereminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and running the commands:

u1sdtool --quit

rm ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf

u1sdtool --start && u1sdtool --connect

Also make sure you have run your updates and have the newest available client for Lucid because it looks as though this bug was fixed.

thank you,

Ok, did the commands.

The CLI seems to work.

BUT, the GUI doesn't work (see attached). Eventually, it states "synchronization" complete, but the GUI is not updated with my Account Details, nor my machine (Device) details.
