Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-games

Quadrapassel used to work fine. Now, the play area of the window either is completely blank (i.e. looks like the window background grey) or it flashes when things are supposed to be moving on it. I tried wiping out the settings in the local .gconf/apps/quadrapassel path, but it did not seem to help. Note that it looks similar to when OpenGL is flashing, although other OpenGL things are working fine (i.e. screensavers).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

Downloaded iso for alpha 3. Used startup disk creator to install iso to a USB drive. Booted from USB, selected the try without install option. Connected to the internet. Opened software center to install quadrapassel (since it was not already installed), and the install failed, saying it couldn't find the source.

OK, well I guess since I'm always just deleting it automatically now, it's not a big deal. Just thought the developers might want to fix it, but I really don't care anymore, so it can expire.
