Firefox tries to download .php files

Bug Description

Go to http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en in firefox and wait a moment. The download dialog box should open.

If that doesn't work, go to http://www.rocktheskillcrane.com/play.php enter information, and click "snatch." The download dialog box should open.

Hi. Thanks for the bug report.

Most of time errors like that are caused by server side.

I've tried the sites you posted and they worked fine.
Can you try again?

If the error persists, tell us what Ubuntu and Firefox versions you are using.

Hmm... It was doing this for quite a while, but now it stopped. I guess you can close this one.

I am getting the same error - Firefox is trying to open a php file instead of parsing. I am using Firefox 2.0.0.3 and Ubuntu Linux 2.6.20-15-generic #2 SMP . So, can you let me know how I can fix it -- to my email -- <email address hidden> --- thanks siva

the website probably doesn't provide a decent mime type in header. I can't test because the test-url appears to not exist.

I am getting the same error, only when I'm trying to blog post using wordpress.
Today, I'm facing a new one. I've tried to install wordpress at local searver using xampp, install.php don't parsea at all, just tying install pho file.
so, instead of using xampp, installed the whole thing using tasksel.
but same error again.

Can somebody help me fix this problem?
