columns don't line up on the latest stories

and the columns should be percentages and/or the css should crop the columns...probably better since the columns are in fixed size widgets

Cool, css adjusted to make the first column fixed width so each second column will left align in same place.

This needs to be tweaked.

Names that are too long will wrap. In that case that also pushes the story name down, when it should be vertically aligned with the upper baseline, not the bottom one.

In the attached image, the "mark" should be one line higher.

Most of the list items are affected by this aesthetic bug.

I made both the story-name & the story-title relatively positioned & then I floated them left. Left floats will always stay on top & independent of the height of their siblings, so this particular issue is fixed. If you run into any other instances of this, file a bug & I'll apply a similar fix, if applicable.
