Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

PROBLEM

Since upgrading to Maverick, I have experienced graphical glitches:

1. Window title bars sometimes lag, when an activity would cause them to update. Abiword continues to show an asterisk (indicating an unsaved document) next to the name of a document that I just saved. Firefox often shows the name of the tab I just scrolled from. Sometimes a title bar is so glitched that it's split across the middle, with half of one title on top and another half on the bottom.

2. When mousing over windows using Compiz scale, the window title preview is sometimes a random garbage "picture" instead, like a fragment of a website I have open.

HOW TO REPRODUCE

1. Use Firefox, Abiword, or Compiz scale on a Compaq Presario CQ62 notebook.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Upgrading to Maverick won't cause graphical issues.
